About BD dance project
BD is an Apprenticeship Program Company founded by Christine Cyr and Owen Montague.
BD Dance Project offers professionally trained dance graduates the opportunity to join a professional company structure, gain experience in their field before obtaining their first contract. This four-year program is available for a fee. The company produces shows in which dancers participate as apprentices, giving them the chance to work with both up-and-coming creators and experienced choreographers. Apprentices are also advised and coached in their own creative process. Each performance will be remunerated. BD Dance Project also includes training in performance-related professions such as rehearsal technicians, choreographers, stage technicians and administrative management.

BD’s mission is to support emerging artists by bringing together talents from diverse backgrounds, creating a new network conducive to artistic development. By investing in BD Dance Project the artist becomes the catalyst for his or her own career, nurturing aspirations and experiences while preparing to light up the artistic scene with passion and excellence!
